I Am One With My Surroundings

Cyanotype photography is a camera-less technique that involves laying an image on paper coated with a chemical solution, exposing it to UV light, and washing with water to create Cyan unique images.

"An Offering To Nature" is a creative expression inspired by my feelings of gratitude towards the nature around me. I like to think about it as a ritual to honor the land, and connect with the spirit of the Earth.

Using the cyanotype technique to print this image made the image more alive to me. It was a medium I found it would push the boundaries of photography, and create a multi-layered dialogue between nature and the photographic medium.
