I have been experimenting with vintage frames, using them to create depth in my pieces, as well as subverting the viewer's perspective of a traditionally framed piece by using the much more unique & interesting back as the front. I have also been utilizing the book covers I've collected, cutting them into triangles and other geometric shapes. This helps to abstract the covers so they are thought of as a design element rather than their original form.
