Imagination Unboxed

While walking around Chalktoberfest at the Marietta Square and seeing incredible art come to life, I caught a glimpse of this well loved cardboard box holding the colors of a rainbow in solo cups. It was the behind the scene, messy chaos of colorful paints that caught and held my attention. The artist was dipping into these, creating a masterpiece. These tools of the trade struck a chord with me. From this little tattered box holding paints, an artist was making their dreams come alive! This is my biggest watercolor to date and I had so much fun creating the look of a well used box.
